Stop looking for your other half.
What?!
That probably does sound absolutely at odds to anything you've heard before, but searching for your "other half" unfortunately does indicate that you are not actually an entire person right off the bat. It suggests, that you really do not have everything within you already that you need to live a very happy life. Isn't life about truly realizing ourselves and who we are deep inside?
Instead, keep an eye open for the person who wants to be your teammate. Look for someone who challenges you to be something bigger than you've ever been before. Look for someone who truly believes in you and your vision, who is there for you when times get tricky and who comes to you when they want support too. Look for someone who will walk right by your side...not your missing piece.
Because in life, things always appear and disappear. Even the relationships that endure the test of time finally end and you must go on living your life. The individual that is going to be there for you for some considerable time would also wish that you wouldn't be broken to pieces when they are gone. So be an entire person who can love another in full. Be the best version you can be for yourself and allow for another to dream with you on how to change the world.
When you can work on yourself in life and find someone who will do the same, then you can meet together as two whole individuals who appreciate and value each other. Isn't this a far better way of going through life than thinking you are broken without someone there? Doesn't this open you up to significant amounts of expansion and the facility to reach your total potential?
Find your teammate, you will be way better off. These relationships bloom.
