Prophetic Pastor Opportunities In The World Today And Contradictions Brought About By False Prophets

By Sally Delacruz

It is common for a person to see preachers all over spreading the gospel and gathering a congregation then afterwards you will hear them asking for a small offering. So common that it has lead people astray in that they no longer see the importance of going to church or reading the word of God. False prophetic pastor opportunities have played a huge role in doing this and have no remorse or shame in what they have lead people into.

A prophecy is a message conveyed to the people from God through prophets or commonly a prophecy is said to be predicting the future happenings. Prophetic pastors are people who convey these messages to their congregation.

Prophetic pastors are people who have been given the mandate or designated by God to interpret the bible. They can see future happenings through visions and deliver messages to the people, warning them against calamities that might happen if they do not change their ways.

They know the weaknesses of people therefore corrupting their mind to their advantage. The bible warns us about false prophets, like in the books of Mathew 7:15-20 saying that these prophets come like sheep on the outside but on the inside they are just wild wolves.

Usually people will listen and follow what the prophetic pastors tell them and being the world that we live in today the prophetic pastors have seen an opportunity to exploit the society. They pretend to be prophets sent by God by preaching false prophecies for their own selfish interest. That is, asking for offerings, favors and claiming to have the power to heal all kinds of calamities, be it sickness, poverty etc.

These false prophetic pastors extort money from their congregation in form of tithe and offering who innocently give out without knowing. They also claim to have certain powers such as healing the sick, making the blind to see or even helping a barren woman to get a child only on the condition that they will bring an offering in terms of monetary value.

In some nations this discovery of false prophetic pastors using the authority they have to exploit people has been taken seriously. Like in many African nations these false prophets are reported to the police and their churches closed down. Some of them are even jailed for many years for this act.

It has become a problem that needs to be addressed but unfortunately people choose to ignore and fall victims. Thus the common saying a true prophet is never accepted in his own town. The bible warns people about false prophecy like in the book of Peter chapter 2:10, it says that the false teachers are bold and arrogant, they show no respect for the glorious being above and instead they insult them.
